In Uttar Pradesh District Magistrate is Chief of district and head of administrative structure. Chief Development Officer, Superintendent of Police and Additional District Magistrate work under him. District is divided inti tehsils for revenue and blocks for development.

District Magistrate Office is called Collectorate and is situated near court premises. Although District magistrate can be contacted any time but main time to meet him is between 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the morning in Collectorate office.
