Amjheer River Revitalization Work

The source of the river Amjhir is from near the waterfall located behind Amjhara temple in Siddha Kshetra located in Gram Panchayat Narahat.The real name of this river is Amjhir because of the Amjhara proven area. Amjheer river flows through the waterfalls located behind the Siddha area and joins the Sajnam river near village Lalitapur, the total length of the river is 14 km. Its surrounding 04 gram panchayats are dependent on the Amjhir river.Work of 9 km is being done, in which an estimate of Rs 236 lakh has been made. About 600 hectare land will be irrigated from Amjheer river and the work of this river is in progress.

नदी पुनरोद्धार से अब नही रहेगी पानी की कमी, न रहेंगे प्यासे पशु पक्षी और न जानवर, सुखद हुआ लोगों का जन जीवन, पानी मिलेगा पूरे वर्ष ||
